A SALESMAN has pulled off Hollywood’s greatest night out – after getting into one of Tinseltown’s most famous awards party to rub shoulders with the stars.
Confident Steve Carruthers, 29, swaggered into the Bafta Tea Party to pose up with movie megastars including Leonardo DiCaprio and Helen Mirren after skipping past security.

He told The Sun last night: “The measures I had to get past were extreme but all it took was a suit.”
Steve, from Hull, UK, sneaked into the pre-awards party on Saturday at the Four Seasons Hotel to meet Sir Elton John, Quentin Tarantino, Sacha Cohen Baron and Ricky Gervais.
The online salesman said: “Getting near the event was Mission Impossible. The security measures I had to get past were extreme.”
“Roads all around the Golden Globe venues were sectioned off and not open to the public.”

“Police and event security all had the roads blocked off for around three or four blocks.”
The cheeky chappie was in America visiting a pal when the idea struck him to don a suit and try his luck at partying with some of the world’s most famous stars.
He said: “I got in the event for free by wearing my suit and side stepping security.”
“I then walked past security in the car park and all the people who work around the trucks with no questions asked.”

“I saw a variety of stars heading to the parties in the hotel. Some actors were doing post Golden Globe interviews on the red carpet, so I took a chance and went on the carpet and met a few actors.”
“I met Kate Botsworth, Ian Somerhalder, Ansel Elgort, Machine Gun Kelly, Ricky Gervais, Mike Epps and even Italian football World Cup winning legend Alessandro Del Piero.”
“I went back into the hotel lobby and thought I’d try and gain entry into a party.”
“Security was tight and you had to show a wristband but when a crowd gathered, I side stepped security and went in. I went through champagne, cranberry and vodkas, hand food like salmon, deserts and sandwiches.”

“I saw Snoop Dogg and given the fact I have met him before in UK, I put my hand out and embraced him while he was walking and told him I look forward to seeing him perform in the UK in 2020.”
“He replied: ‘I appreciate the support cuz’.
“I took pics with Sir Elton John, Leonardo Di Caprio, Antonio Banderas, Sacha Baron Cohen, Wesley Snipes and Quentin Tarantino.”
“I also saw Tom Hanks.”
